This is not Religion

Black Friday - it only comes once a year. For those who don't know, that's what retailers call the day after Thanksgiving. It's a retail jubilee, where everhone prices their cheap plastic holiday crap even lower to entice people to spend money they don't really have. It's the beginning of the Christmas season. Christmas should be a time for generosity, love and kindness, but for these people it's not. The greed that drives people to drag themselves and their children out of bed at four a.m. to make it to the opening sales is a good sign that people have lost the meaning of their own holiday.

I thought that today might prove those thoughts wrong. People were polite to me, one lady even told me we were doing a great job. It seems, I just didn't meet the true nut-cases.

But it's worse than just overzealous shopping. It hurts people, even kills them. A man was killed in a New York Wal-Mart this morning, when shoppers broke down the doors and trampled him, also injuring others.
This isn't religion,
It's sick.
